Eagle Rock Challenge Course Eagle Rock Challenge Course is located at the base of Little Mountain in Mount Vernon, Washington. The course is a part of the City of Mount Vernon Parks and Recreation Department, and is comprised of ten low course elements, four individual high course elements, a variety of portable elements, and a hub-and-spoke high course, which includes 18 interconnected elements, 35-40 feet off the ground.

Skagit Performing Arts Council The council is an umbrella group for most of Skagit County's performing arts organizations. In addition to its other many activities, the council presents a Showcase of Performing Arts ("SOPA") annually in early autumn. Check their web for schedules.

15th Street Playfield N. 15th Street Located on 15th Street, this 5 acre park has a combination of two softball fields, two youth soccer fields, and playground facilities.
Bakerview Park - 3101 East Fir Street This 39 acre park is located in the northeast quadrant of Mount Vernon. Facilities include: four little league fields, three soccer fields, four basketball courts, two sand volleyball courts, a new skate park with four ramps, roller hockey, outdoor BBQ's, three children's play areas, picnicking areas, public restrooms, concessions, 22,000 square foot indoor recreation center, and BMX bike track.
Edgewater Park 600 Behrens Millett Road Located in West Mount Vernon, this 54 acre park is located along the scenic Skagit River. Facilties include: four regulation softball fields, 25 camping sites (for tournament camping only), and a boat launch on the Skagit River
Hillcrest Park - 1717 South 13th Street 1717 S. 13th Street Bordering 13th and Blackburn Streets, this 30.75 acre park is located in the southern portion of Mount Vernon. Facilities include: one softball field, one adult soccer field, four lighted tennis courts, two lighted outdoor basketball courts, picnic areas, playground equipment, walking trails, gazebo (rental), BBQ pits, community lodge and garden (rental), and a covered picnic area (rental).
Lion's Park - 501 Freeway Drive This 1.6 acre park is located on the east bank of the Skagit River. Facilities include: sheltered and unsheltered picnic areas, playground equipment, tot lots, public restrooms, and a R.V. dump station.
Little Mountain Park Our largest and most impressive park, comprised of 480 acres, is located south of the city limits. Follow the 1.5 mile paved road to the top of Little Mountain--an elevation gain of 934 feet. A covered viewpoint provides a spectacular look at the Skagit Valley, San Juan Islands, Olympic Mountains, and the tulip fields. Coming in the Summer of 2003 a northerly viewing platform! The park also provides numerous hiking trails and serves as an excellent hang gliding location
Sherman Anderson Ballpark 1501 Cleveland Street This 3.4 acre park is located a half mile south of downtown on Cleveland Street. The ballpark is primarily used for baseball and includes full restroom facilities, concession stand, and grandstand seating for 1,500.
